SYNOPSIS:
The movie presents the last Foreign Minister of Second Republic of Poland in the background of pre-war political situation in Europe. Minister Beck, interned by Romanian authorities in 1939, recalls the determiners for the outbreak of World War II that made him die himself in exile. Inevitability of events and illusive hope become clearer with hindsight. This point of view shows us evidently the shallowness of political play-acting adhered to 75 years ago, as it is these days.
