SYNOPSIS:
A man of sixty is murdered in a small village. Six villagers are implicated in the manslaughter. However, it appears that the victim was a habitual criminal who spent years in and out of prison and terrorized his neighbors. The implicated locals, men with clean records and now facing charges of particularly ruthless murder, are drawn into the merciless mills of prosecution and justice administration. The village’s inhabitants stand up to fight for the men’s acquittal.
