SYNOPSIS:
Two strangers, Jerzy and Marta, meet on a night train by sheer coincidence. Because of a shortage of vacant beds, they end up in a sleeper together. Evidently, both of them would prefer to travel alone. Step by step, they develop a more friendly relationship. Coarse and unconventional behavior of Marta fascinates Jerzy and helps him forget the trauma he went through just before the train trip.
