SYNOPSIS:
Shocking story inspired by true events. A story of women who tread the borderline between fervent religious faith and madness, love and lust. A group of nuns led by the stern Mother Superior try to find shelter from the sinful, rotten world. Soon the women are joined by charismatic priest, Franciszek, who preaches a new idea of God to them. Mother Superior and the priest insist that not only the soul but the body as well should experience the Lord. Soon the nuns put up a wire fence around the convent, barring access to… and escape from the place. The goings on inside the convent are shrouded in mystery guarded by the nuns and Franciszek alike. Only one of the nuns, Anna, seems to question the new manner of religious life. Lonely, torn apart by internal conflict, she fights fiercely to keep her faith and body pure.
