SYNOPSIS:
A parallel film story which takes place in the Communist-ruled Poland of the 1950s and in the present days . The main character is Sabina, a seemingly unattractive and passive woman whose mother and grandma go out of their way to find a man willing to marry her. One day, the girl meets the handsome Bronisław, a Polish secret police agent. However, his devilish emotional involvement has a not quite a cost-free vein in it. A psychological/political thriller with a surprisingly fresh touch of dark humor.
